The real estate sector contributed 13.6 percent to Dubai's economy last year. This is twice as high as in 2017 - 6.9 percent.
At the same time, the contribution of the construction sector to Dubai's GDP was 6.4 percent in 2018 compared to 6.2 percent in 2017.
Experts note a significant increase in the number of transactions on
buying apartments in Dubai and the volume of investments. In the first 5 months of this year, the volume of transactions with
real estate in Dubai reached $28.8 billion against $25.8 billion for the same period last year. Thus, the growth in the volume of
investments in real estate in Dubai amounted to 12 percent.
Since the beginning of 2019, 48 projects have been launched on the
Dubai real estate market, including apartment buildings, villas and townhouses. With the commissioning, they will add more than 8 thousand residential premises to the
