Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE visited the construction site of EXPO 2020. Following the inspection, the ruler of Dubai promised to make the exhibition the best in its 168-year history.
Sheikh Mohammed's visit to the construction site took place 450 days before the opening of EXPO 2020. He heard a report on the preparations for the exhibition and called on all participants in the process to intensify their efforts for the sake of the future overall success of the event.
Expo 2020 is a world exhibition scheduled to be held in Dubai. The venue for the exhibition was determined by voting at the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions on November 27, 2013 in Paris. EXPO 2020 will be the first event of its kind in the Middle East and Africa region. The exhibition will be held from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021 in Dubai and will attract 25 million visitors.
