A study by Rosselkhozbank showed that Russian women who are not officially married take
mortgage loans on
buying an apartment is twice as likely as unmarried men.
According to the credit organization, the main
buyers of apartments in Russia are still families. They account for more than half, namely 57 percent, of all issued
mortgage loans. Unmarried people buy the remaining 43 percent of apartments. At the same time, unmarried women are twice as "brave" than bachelors
