Novosibirsk was in the top three in terms of issued
mortgages for the first nine months of 2021.
loans in VTB Bank for nine months were Moscow and the Moscow region (286 billion rubles), St. Petersburg and the region (66 billion), the Novosibirsk region (29.3 billion), Tatarstan (25 billion) and the Sverdlovsk region (21 billion).
According to VTB, over the first nine months of the year, Russian banks increased the issuance of
mortgages by 42 percent, to 4 trillion rubles . In September, the total amount of sales amounted to about 500 billion rubles, which is comparable to the figure in the same month last year. It is expected that by the end of the year the volume
mortgages will exceed the record 5 trillion rubles for the market. In 2020,
mortgage loans were issued for a total of 4.3 trillion rubles.
Since the beginning of this year, the Bank VTB
issued a mortgage for more than 780 billion rubles. This is almost a quarter more than the result for the same period last year. In September, VTB concluded more than 26,000 transactions for 95 billion rubles.
Under the VTB Family Mortgage Program at the beginning of the year issued more than 43 billion rubles of loans for
purchase of an apartment. After the modernization of its conditions from July 1, the average monthly sales volume increased by 2. 7 times, and the share in the total volume has already reached 12 percent.
"Family Mortgage" shows the highest growth rates among state programs.
