According to the results of the state cadastral valuation of all real estate in St. Petersburg, the total cost increased by 1 percent. The new cadastral value will come into force on January 1, 2019. Citizens and legal entities will pay taxes on it from 2020.

More than 3 million objects have passed the state cadastral valuation: 2.7 million premises (2.2 million residential and 0.5 million non-residential), 147 thousand land plots, 116 thousand buildings. Preliminary data was published in the summer, after which claims were accepted. Almost 1,500 comments were submitted, of which 451 were taken into account.

The main number of apartments (84.6 percent) met the cost of up to 7 million rubles. They will have a tax rate of 0. 1 percent. For apartments costing from 7 to 20 million (14.5 percent of the total) - 0.15 percent, costing from 20 to 300 million (0.9) - 0.2 percent, costing over 300 million (there are only ten such apartments in St. ) - 2 percent.

The total cadastral value of residential premises increased by 4.1 percent, which is comparable to the inflation rate. Average cost per sq. m of apartments amounted to 95,662 rubles.
