Turkish real estate continues to flourish largely thanks to the Russians. In November 2019, Russian citizens
bought 300 apartments and houses in Turkey.
According to the Turkish Institute of Statistics , Iraq leads in the number of residential properties purchased by foreigners in Turkey in November (575). Iran is in second place (500). The Russians are in the top three. Next come Afghanistan (216) and Saudi Arabia (174). , Ankara and Alanya.
According to the Central Bank of the country, in October, prices for apartments in Turkey rose by 6.74 percent in annual terms. This is 0.12 percent higher than the previous month. New buildings have risen in price for the year by 9.61 percent, secondary housing - by 6.23.
In the first eight months of 2019, foreigners
bought 40,185 apartments and houses in Turkey. This is more than the same indicator for 2018 (35,103).
