With the lifting of restrictions imposed in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, in June, the approval rate for applications for issuing
mortgages returned to the pre-crisis level of 78-80 percent.
Earlier, amid the pandemic, banks tightened the issuance of
mortgage loans on
buying an apartment, however, after the start of the lifting of restrictions imposed by the state, the lending policy of banks returned to the pre-crisis level.
According to the Central Bank, in June there was a noticeable recovery in retail lending : It rose 1 percent m/m after weak growth in May (+0.2) and a decline in April (-0.7).
