Families with many children can receive a benefit of 450 thousand rubles to repay a loan for
purchase of an apartment. They can do this by personally applying to a branch of Sberbank with an application and relevant documents.
The Russian government previously approved the rules for cash payments for redemption
mortgages for large families. A family in which a third or subsequent child was born or adopted from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2022, when
purchasing an apartment on a mortgage is entitled to compensation up to 450 thousand rubles. Applications can be submitted to banks from September 25.
According to Alexander Vedyakhin, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, the state program is a very important decision with far-reaching socio-economic consequences. It will create affordable conditions
purchase of apartments for large families. Vedyakhin noted that Sberbank is technically ready to implement state initiatives and expects an increase in the number of requests at first.
The corresponding law was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on July 3.
