In the spring of next year, it is planned to adopt a law according to which the municipalities of the Russian Federation will be able to
buy apartments for emergency resettlement using escrow accounts. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Construction Nikita Stasishin on November 1 at an expanded meeting of the All-Russian public organization "Business Russia". According to Stasyshyn, the Finance Ministry is amending the law on the budget. Now, if the municipality
buys an apartment for emergency resettlement or housing for various categories of citizens, it cannot buy from developers on escrow accounts, because that any organizations open accounts in the treasury. During the spring session, municipalities will be able to open escrow accounts with banks.
