Sberbank, together with Rosreestr, has created a service for electronic registration of property rights to real estate. In some regions of Russia, registration of
mortgage transactions in Rosreestr in electronic form for bank customers now takes no more than 100 minutes from the moment the package of documents is received.
Documents are sent for registration immediately after signing the loan agreement at the office of Sberbank. All participants in the transaction receive registered documents by e-mail. The service is available for
buying apartments in new buildings and finished housing. Previously, the procedure took up to 11 working days, now the registration of ownership takes two hours.
The project is already working in the Novosibirsk and Ivanovo regions. The term for registering documents in electronic form has also been reduced in the Vladimir, Penza, Voronezh, Pskov, Orenburg regions, the Stavropol Territory and the Republic of Udmurtia. In these regions, the registration procedure
mortgage deal takes no more than one day.
