Almost 8.5 thousand
mortgages were registered in the Novosibirsk region in July. This is the highest figure in the region since December 2018.
Compared to June, in which 5,191 credits were issued for
purchase apartments in the Novosibirsk Region, the growth of
mortgage transactions last month amounted to 63 percent. Compared to July last year, the growth is 39 percent: 6,061
mortgage was registered in July 2019 and 8,447
mortgages – in July 2020.
In total, since the beginning of 2020, 40.2 thousand
mortgages have been registered in the Novosibirsk Region, which is 1 percent more than in seven months of last year (39.8 thousand).
The growth in the number of
mortgage transactions in 2020 is facilitated by the state program for the provision of preferential
mortgages at 6.5 percent per annum. The program was launched in mid-April, and the first transactions in the Novosibirsk region were registered in early May.
