The average rate on
mortgage loans in Russia rose to 7.78 percentage points in August, updating the maximum since April 2020. Such data are provided by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
Compared to July, the rate on
mortgage increased by 0.11 percent, while The number of issued loans almost did not change - 150.8 thousand loans against 151.4 thousand in the previous month. The volume of loans, in turn, increased by 1.4 percent, to 439 billion rubles.
According to Sberbank Vice President Nikolai Vasev, on average, Russians pay
mortgages 23.2 thousand rubles a month. Compared to last year, this amount increased by 12.9 percent. For
new buildings it is 25.7 thousand rubles, for housing on the secondary market - 21 thousand rubles.< br>
The average term
mortgages in Russia grew by almost two months - up to 244.6 months, or 20 years and 4 months. The mortgage portfolio of credit organizations grew by 1.7 percent in August, to 10.95 trillion rubles.
