For the first seven months of this year, prices for new secondary
real estate in St. Petersburg increased by 6.36 percent. According to the results of July, the average cost
purchasing an apartment in St. Petersburg amounted to 121,297 rubles per square meter.
The rise in prices for the "new secondary housing" occurred primarily in the economy and comfort class. According to experts, the reason for the rise in prices was the instability of prices in the primary market, the cause of which, in turn, was the construction reform.
