According to the results of an all-Russian survey, the majority of Russians are ready to give up entertainment, beauty salons and travel for the sake of
buying an apartment.
78 percent of people surveyed plan to
buy an apartment in the next five years, despite rising real estate prices. Most of all, those wishing to
buy an apartment are in the age group of 25–35 years - 82 percent. 71 percent of those wishing to
buy an apartment over the next five years are in the group of respondents aged 56 and older. Among young people (under 25), 64 percent of those surveyed have such plans.
Remarkably, that women tend to own real estate more than men.
to buy an apartment among women surveyed throughout Russia, 80 percent are going to buy an apartment over the next five years, and 76 percent of men.
< br> The survey also showed that for the sake of their own apartment, 17 percent of Russians are ready to save on food, and almost half of the young people surveyed are thinking of postponing the birth of children for several years.
More than half of the people surveyed (55 percent) are ready for minor restrictions for the sake of
buying an apartment. Another 28 percent of Russians noted that for the sake of
buying an apartment they are ready to severely limit other expenses. At the same time, 9 percent of respondents admitted that they were not ready for such restrictions. The older the respondents, the less they are willing to limit themselves.
