In March, 83.01 thousand mortgage loans were issued for 183, 57 billion rubles, a year earlier - 107.81 thousand loans for 212.99 billion. At the same time, the average mortgage check increased by 12 percent over the year: from 1.98 to 2.21 million rubles.
If we consider the statistics for the first quarter of 2019, the number of new mortgage loans decreased by 12 percent year-on-year. The most serious decline in mortgage lending was recorded in March.
In just three months, 241.96 thousand mortgage loans were issued for a total amount of more than 529.70 billion rubles, a year ago 275, 87 thousand loans for 535.58 billion. The average size of a new mortgage loan increased by 13 percent: from 1.94 to 2.19 million rubles.
