The Russian government instructed to submit proposals to reduce the amount of payments to citizens under
mortgage.
First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov and Vice Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, with the participation of Central Bank Chairman Elvira Nabiullina, must submit relevant proposals to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin by March 16. This includes proposals to create conditions for refinancing previously issued
mortgage loans on
buying an apartment in a simplified manner.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko was instructed to ensure that citizens are informed about preferential programs< a href="https://www.gjacip.ru/ipoteka/">mortgage lending. The government proposed to expand benefits for
purchase of apartments in the secondary housing market.
Also, the Ministry of Construction of Russia together with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Rosreestr by March 16, 2020, must submit proposals to the government on involving inefficiently used land plots in housing construction.
