Mortgage lending in Russia again accelerated growth after a seasonal decline at the beginning of the year. According to surveys of the largest banks, growth in March amounted to 2.2 percent compared to 1.9 in February and 0.9 in January.
As part of anti-crisis measures, the government launched a program of preferential "https://www.gjacip.ru/ipoteka/">mortgages for housing in new buildings at 6.5 percent. Initially, the preferential mortgage program was valid until November 1, but by the end of October the program was extended until July 1, 2021.
