According to the website of the American embassy, "in connection with the measures taken by the Russian Federation to limit the number of employees of the US diplomatic mission in Russia, starting from August 23, 2017, the procedure for issuing non-immigrant visas throughout Russia will be suspended," Gazeta.ru writes. At the same time, it is reported that from September 1, 2017, the procedure will be resumed in Moscow. And in other regions, visas will not be issued for an indefinite period. In addition, previously scheduled appointments will be cancelled. Recall that only highly qualified personnel can now obtain a residence permit in the United States. The conditions for granting a Green Card are now tightened.
