The Novosibirsk region was among the regions whose residents most often take
mortgages.
According to the results of a study commissioned by RIA News,
mortgage is most in demand in Russia among residents of the Yamalo-Nenets District. In the region, on average, about 30 people out of a thousand take a
mortgage loan on
buying an apartment is 1.8 times more than the average for Russia. The Tyumen region and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug are in second and third place with the results of 27.6 and 27.4 loans per thousand economically active population.
In the group of leaders, but outside the top three, there are: the Chuvash Republic (25 credits), the Republic of Bashkortostan (24.8 credits), the Arkhangelsk Region (24.3 credits), the Magadan Region (24 credits), the Novosibirsk Region ( 23.7 credits), the Udmurt Republic (23.6 credits) and the Perm Territory (23.4 credits). In total, the development of
mortgage is above the average Russian level in 47 regions.
According to experts, in the
mortgage lending is growing. The volume of issuance of
mortgages in the first half of 2020, despite the coronavirus pandemic, amounted to more than 600 thousand issued
