The average
mortgage loan in Russia resumed growth in August after declining in July.
According to the National Bureau of Credit Histories , in August 2021, the average amount of issued
mortgage loans amounted to 3.21 million rubles. In July, this figure was 3.1 million. Thus, the growth of the average bill for
mortgage amounted to 3.7 percent compared to the previous month.

Since the beginning of 2021, the average size of
mortgages nationwide increased by 14.5 percent. In January, the figure was 2.81 million rubles. Compared to the same period last year, the growth amounted to 21.4 percent (in August 2020 - 2.65 million rubles).
