The average age of Russians who
buy apartments on credit dropped to 36 in 2019. Five years ago, the average age of Russian
mortgage borrowers was 40 years.
According to Moscow Credit Bank, almost a third (30 percent) of all
mortgage loans on
purchase of an apartment issued to Russians under the age of 30. The age of the youngest borrower of the credit institution is 18 years old.
