In Russia, in the period from January to October 2020, the number of registered
mortgage transactions increased by 23 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to 2.6 million, according to the message of Rosreestr.
According to Rosreestr, in October of this year, more than 377.5 thousand
mortgages. This is 43 percent more than in October last year.
On the
secondary housing market in October, an increase in the number of transactions in annual terms amounted to 4 percent. During the month, 380.2 thousand transactions were registered.
Also, the number of registered participation agreements increased, which amounted to 82.5 thousand. The growth was 63 percent compared to the same period in 2019. It is noteworthy that almost half of the transactions were executed electronically.
