The authorities will punish the regions for non-fulfillment of plans for the commissioning of housing

For each Russian region, standards will be set for the input of housing for a year. Thus, the authorities intend to stimulate the implementation of the national project "Housing and the urban environment", in particular, to increase the volume of delivery to 120 million square meters. m per year.

Each region will establish a plan for commissioning housing independently. This will be done as part of the local program for the implementation of the national project, which will have to be coordinated with the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. All plans must be ready by the end of the year. For non-fulfillment of the program, the region is threatened, at least, with the return of budget subsidies allocated for housing construction. Either cut or freeze subsidies for next year.

The Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Oreshkin, during a discussion session within the framework of the XVIII Congress of the United Russia party, proposed to stimulate the regions also with the personal responsibility of officials, because of which the facility could not be commissioned. This practice has been in effect at the federal level since the middle of the year. True, the results will become known only next year, after the audits of the Accounts Chamber.
