Thailand was among the countries with the fastest annual growth in house prices by the second quarter of 2020. The average cost of
apartments in Thailand increased by 8.16 percent over the year.
More house prices rose only in Turkey (+11.59%), the Philippines (+11.52%), Germany (10.85%), Slovakia (+9.13%) and Estonia (8.28%).
In other countries popular with Russian-speaking buyers, housing prices over the year changed as follows: Portugal +8.12%, the Netherlands +6.12%, Canada +5.19%, USA +5.02%, Austria +3 03%, UK +1.11%, Latvia +0.85%, Switzerland +0.61%.
