In the third quarter of 2020, 7,047 houses and apartments were sold in Singapore, up 164.5 percent from the second quarter (2,664).
Singapore new home sales up 105.3 percent quarter-on-quarter to 3,517 units. The secondary housing segment turned out to be more active. The number of finished housing transactions soared by 271.6 percent compared to the previous quarter to 3,467 units. Housing in the secondary market accounted for 49.5 percent of the total number of transactions. In the second apartment, this figure was 35 percent.
At the same time, prices for
houses and apartments in Singapore increased by 0 .8 percent qoq after rising by 0, 3 percent in the second quarter. Housing prices went up mainly in the Central Region (RCR), where the growth amounted to 2.5 percent compared to the previous quarter. Outside the Central region, housing has risen in price by 1.7 percent.
