Thailand's richest man to build country's tallest skyscraper

Billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi said that his company Asset World Corporation is going to build the tallest skyscraper in Thailand. The completion of the project is planned for 2025.

It is still unknown what height the skyscraper will have. It is only known that the tower should break the record for height, which so far belongs to the Magnolias Waterfront Residences building, whose height is 318 meters. The new tower will be built on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok.

Asset World Corporation will build the building in partnership with Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, which built the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The new skyscraper will house hotels, shops and offices. Currently, representatives of Asset World Corporation are negotiating with three large hotel chains, such as Mariott and Hilton.
